Fresh leaves, dried leaves and powder are the same plant in three forms — but they suit different needs. Here's how to choose.

Simple Rules of Thumb
- Want the most vitamin C? Fresh leaves, lightly cooked.
- Want convenience and consistency? Powder — about 1 teaspoon (~3 g) is a common daily starting amount.

Storage
Fresh leaves: refrigerate and use within a few days. Dried leaves and powder: keep airtight, away from light and moisture, and use within the pack's date. Nutrients degrade with heat, light and time in every form, so buy what you'll actually use.
One Honest Note on Quantity
A practical everyday amount of fresh leaves is 2–3 tablespoons (about 30–40 g) per meal. For powder, 1 teaspoon (~3 g) stirred into food is a practical starting amount. More is not automatically better. See Moringa Dosage and Cautions.
